About

Euphorbia x pasteuri is a medium sized, rounded shrub with stout stems that are topped with bold, dark green foliage that has a striking light green mid rib and tinges red in autumn. A cross between E. stygiana and E. millifera it takes the best of both its parents; the larger more leathery leaves and more rounded shape of E.stygiana and has the size and honey sented flowers of E.millifera.

It is evergreen and architectural its the best Euphorbia (in our opinion). The flower bracts are terricotta in colour and have the heady scent of honey in early spring - it is a great food source for early bees and butterflies. Hardy our plants have been taken to the ground in 2011 at -18, but came back stronger than ever. Height and spread 1.5m.

Best planted in full sun and in free draining soil. It can also be used as a pot plant
