About
Arbutus unedo Compacta is an evergreen tree with large dark green leathery leaves its the compact form of unedo. The bark is a fantastic russet red in colour that peels to show new green/pink bark below. The flowers are creamy pink and followed by red edible fruit that resemble strawberries - hence its common name the strawberry tree.
