This superb little evergreen shrub forms a round, shiny dome of rich purple leaves that are a lovely bright green in spring. There are also inconspicuous black and red flowers to be smelt in spring. Height can reach 1m, and spread is 60cm. Frost hardy
Planting and care
Back fill with soil mixed with peat and suitable fertiliser. Best in a sheltered spot but are not too fussy.
