Curcuma ‘White Wonder’ or white turmeric is an important plant in Chinese medicine. The large ribbed green leaves have a dark red mid rib. They emerge in May the white flowers emerge on separate stems directly from the corm. One of the hardiest species worth a try in the UK. Best in semi shade.
