About

This banana is native to the Himalayas Yunnan China Bhutan and northeastern India its a tall Banana 3-5m with green leaves that are narrower than basjoo and the stem and back of leaves have a waxy white coating giving them a glaucus look. It is a fast growing banana it is less hardy than sikkimensis may be best as a container plant unless very sheltered.
