About Sasaella albostriata is a clump forming, nicely variegated bamboo of green and bright cream leaves. It grows to 1.2m and can spread 1-5m in ten years, creating broad drifts. Thin selectively in early spring for the best colour. Planting and Care Sasaella is best grown in sun or semi shade and plant with the addition of some organic matter and water in well. If planting in more direct sun try and give it afternoon shade....
