About

Ensete maurelii says exotic garden more than any other plant it has huge green leaves that are  suffused with shades of red and purple the edges of the leaves and mid rib are a rich deep red as is the stem the leaves grow upto 3m in height and upto 1m across. The more food and water it gets the bigger it will be it also makes a great pot plant as for its size the root ball is not huge. It will need to be brought in for winter keep it dry and frost free make sure you tip it upside down before bringing it in th drain the water from between the leaves. Its a must have plant!

Planting and care

Best in full sun or light shade add some well rotted manure to the hole before planting and liquid feed through the season you will not beleave the growth. Bring in for winter keep dry and frost free.
